Audacity.exe
At the end of recording from my usb turntable when i click stop, a screen appears that says, Audacity.exe stopped functioning. The recording was in excess of 30 minutes. Also, a screen appears that says files were not saved and that Audacity cannot retrieve them but they can be retrieve manually. What do I do and what is happening?

Re: Audacity.exe
If Audacity is complaining about recording time, then it can't find enough room on your hard drive to put the performances. You may also get this error if your hard drive is badly fragmented. When was the last time you defragmented your C:> drive?
Do a properties on your drive and make sure the drive isn't over 90% full. Past 90%, the performance drops markedly.
