Hi it is a Yamaha Audiogram 3 the only settings I can find for volume are on the front panel.

Can anyone please tell me how to just get rid of the large red lines by deselecting show clipping thanks.

You can turn it off by selecting View --> Show clipping. It'll probably have a tick next to it currently.

Still it doesn't "fix" the problem of what you are recording is clipping.
