You have a large amount of stuff hanging from your machine. From the looks of the report, the operating system has no idea what some of it even is.

I was going to tell you to trash Audacity, download it fresh and reinstall, but I changed my mind. I think you have a conditionally unstable machine.

Pull everything off that's not a straight Mac. Get rid of the hub, all the FireWire drives, interface equipment, everything magic. Just keyboard, mouse, monitor, and Mac with internal drives. Then run Applications > Utilities > Disk Utilities > Verify Drive and Repair Permissions on the internal drives that are left. Do you have a memory checker? Run that--overnight if you can.

How full are the internal drives? No mounted drive on an audio (or video) machine should be over 90% full.

Do you leave your machine on and alive 24/7? If not (and few of us do) you'll need to run either MacJanitor or launch Periodic manually from a Terminal.

If your machine makes it through all that, and before you hang all the extra stuff back on, launch Audacity (from the program file, not a shortcut or the dock) and see if it survives.

VST plug-In conflicts with Audacity for OS X: "mda Looplex.vst" causes Audacity for OS X to crash upon application launch (producing the type of error report I posted).

Removing "mda Looplex.vst" (Whatever-You've-Named-Your-OS-X-Boot-Volume > Users > Whatever-You've-Named-It > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST > mda Looplex.vst) results in Audacity not crashing upon launch.

I found this out via the ancient (i.e. pre-Conflict Catcher in pre-OS X days) method of removing one file at a time, rebooting, and launching Audacity for OS X... As you can imagine, this took a huge amount of time, as OS X users have no "Conflict Catcher for OS X" type utility.
