AUDACITY ET WINDOWS 8

Bonjour,

Je fais du home studio avec Audacity depuis pas mal de temps.

Je ne suis pas passé à la version 2.0 car j'ai l'habitude de faire des boucles de mes parties d'instruments qui se répètent dans le morceaux en me basant visuellement sur la piste du métronome, ce qui me permet de découper parfaitement mes sons, exactement où je veux et sur la version 2.0, ces découpes sont approximative.

Jusqu'à maintenant, j'utilisais l'ancienne version d'Audacity avec ma vieille bécane sous windows XP. Mais mon vieux PC a lâché et je viens de m'équiper d'un nouveau modèle sous windows 8.

J'arrive à travailler avec audacity ancienne version mais de temps en temps, audacity se fige. DAns ces cas-là, obligation d'areter le processus via le gestionnaire de tâches mais ensuite impossible de rouvrir Audacity sans avoir redémarré l'ordi.

Donc c'est très chiant car obligation de sauvegarder tout le temps.

Je ne parle pas français, donc si vous pouvez parler anglais, c'est mieux.

Pour Windows 8, vous devez utiliser la dernière Audacity 2.0.2. Si vous utiliser Audacity 1.2, il ne pas fonctionner correctement dans Windows 8. Audacity 1.2 n'a pas été mis au jour depuis 2006.

Ce qui est exactement le problème en 2.0.2 que vous ne pouvez pas couper vos sons exactement ? Il n'y a aucune raison pour cela.

I try to speak english. My problem when I cut a sound, is that i use the tric track draw to cut exactly in the mesure. Whan i tried this method with Audacity 2.0, when I maximize the sample i see it's not exactly cut where i want to be.

my problem is that i use the trick track draw as a time model to cut exactly where i want. When i use this methode with Audacity 2.0, even if i grow the track to the maximal size, it never cuts the track exactely to the place i want. My loops are too long or too short.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "trick track".


If the selections seem to "snap" to the wrong place, ensure that "Snap To" is not selected (not enabled) in the Selection Toolbar:

not really

But i think it's mysound card line 6 UX1 which have problem of compatibility with windows 8 two because VLC have too bugs sometimes and sometimes bugs with all soft using flashplayer like youtube.

I think the best solution is waiting for a update of windows 8 or installing windows XP ! ! !

I don't really understand the problem, unless you are saying Audacity 2.0.x records at the wrong speed from Line6 (so the recording's beats do not match with the click track) and 1.2.x does not.

To make it easier to cut on the click track beats, label the beats with Analyze > Silence Finder (set "Label placement" to 0.00). Then you can snap selections to the label (you are snapped when you see the yellow vertical line).
