Infrasound record

I am interested to record infrasound on my laptop. Can I check frequencies ?

Yes, but you won't be recording it directly on your laptop. You'll be recording it with a special microphone or transducer connected to a special low frequency analog to digital converter. As anybody who's gotten burned with this will tell you, Audacity will display any sound down to pure battery voltage (0Hz), but the trick is to get it in. No parts of a straight PC can do infrasound -- except by accident.
