Help for Audacity on Windows.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

How do I put Gracenote onto Audacity?

You don't. Audacity has no support for metadata lookup. Do you want to vote for that? It may not be simple, because some of the developers think there are security implications in Audacity accepting incoming data from the internet.

There could also be licensing/patent issues as the Gracenote database is not open source.
Musicbrainz offers an open source alternative, but as it is based on FreeDB, which Gracenote claim violates their patents, there may still be issues.

I already explained on the -users list that Audacity doesn't support artwork in audio files.

Where do you want to list the name of the song and artist? Have you done this yet in Audacity? Are you following this Tutorial for Audacity http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/sp ... racks.html ?
