I have two students using Audacity 1.3.2 beta to record files in Spanish class. When they go to Export as... > mp3, the file appears to be successfully created in the destination folder. However, when we browse to the folder to find the mp3, it doesn't appear in the list of files in the folder. If we go back and export the file again, when the "Save MP3 File As" window opens, the file exported previously shows up in the list of files. If we right click the filename in the "Save MP3 File As" window (which is still open because we haven't clicked "save" yet to actually export the file a 2nd time), we can select "COPY" >> go to the desktop or other location, click "PASTE" and the mp3 file is successfully copied. In other words, it is no longer hidden in its new location.
Does anyone have any idea why the exported files are hidden in the folder they were originally exported to?
The same thing happens when exporting as WAV.
