This question may seem pretty basic, but darn'd if I have been able to figure it out! I just downloaded Audacity and I figured out how to edit and apply chains to files, but darned if I can figure out how to save these files now or find where they went!
I have a dozen mp3's that I simply wanted to "amplify", so I created a simple chain that amplifies, and requested that Audacity apply that to the files. Audacity opened the files one by one and appeared to apply the chain - but I cannot find out where these files went, and if I try to exit the program the only option I am given for saving is as an "aup" file.
What do I do next?

Re: Help with Batch Mode
Ok, I went out and had a bite to eat, came back, and answered my own question. You have to include "export mp3" at the end of the chain
It automatically created a sub-directory in my mp3 directory called "cleaned" to deposit the new files.
