how to delete internal with no sound within one track

me recording my speech on audacity, but my speech not smooth , stop a while , thinking and talk back .........so in my whole recording many interval is no sound ..........how can i select all interval (no sound ) and delete and join together clip with sound !!!!!!!!!! thank you all !!!

First welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it as much as i do, and i am sure that the Moderatores here will be able to help if i don't

You should be able to remove the sliance this way.

Load the file, Highlite the first section that has no sound, Click on Effects, click on noise removal, Then Follow the instruction in the Box. This is how i do it, might be a better way tho
