Recording from Bowes & Wilkins MM1 speaker system

How do I use Audacity to record from Bowes & Wilkins MM1 speakers? My PC runs Windows 7. The MM1 speakers use USB input.

You should probably capture the sound before the speakers ever get to it.

I don't think those speakers (or rather the USB soundcard that is built into them) can be used as a recording source.
I quote from the manual:
"With the MM-1 switched on from standby and connected to a PC/Mac via USB, the computer will identify the MM-1 as an output only audio device."
