PAUSE icon appears everywhere at screen instead of others

Post by Gabricot » Tue Aug 14, 2012 4:12 pm

Hi! When I open the logicial, there's only the pause icon that replaces record, stop, forward, backward icons, etc. I've downloaded the logicial twice in different locations on my PC but it didn't change anything. If you have any idea of what the problem might be, join me at [email protected] if you please. Thanks and have a great day!

Since this is a forum and not a help desk, we need to keep the conversation here.

I defaced your email address because it's dangerous to post that on the forum. We get a great many harvesters looking for new addresses to send trash to.

If you're really using Audacity 1.3, it is a good idea to upgrade to the latest version
http://audacityteam.org/download/

1.3 and 1.2 before it are no longer supported and if we do get you out of trouble, it will be by accident.

The issue is noted here:
http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=505

but we don't have any answer to it. Are you on Windows XP?

Mousing over the icons may make the correct button appear.

If not, use the keyboard shortcut alternatives for the buttons instead. For example, R to record, F2 for Envelope Tool. All the shortcuts are here:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ke ... rence.html .
