How do I reduce pitch and speed gradually?

Post by mraza » Thu Oct 09, 2008 5:08 pm

Hi,

I am trying to modify a standard cellular ring tone to sound like the crank ring tone ( http://www.mytinyphone.com/ringtone/66120/ ). I have a standard cellular ring tone but I do not know how to reduce it's pitch and speed gradually, so far I have been able to reduce the pitch through the "effects" menu but that reduces the pitch in an abruptly manner and not gradually.

Can anyone help me out here?

The file that I am using can be downloaded from

http://mraza.info

I have converted this mid file to wav and I am using the wav file for modifications and adding effects, I tried to upload the wav file but my web host won't allow it!

Use Audacity 1.3.5
Add a "time track" and "bend" the pitch with that.
