Audacity & Multimix firewire setup problem

Audacity & Multimix firewire setup problem

I have gone into Audio I/O preferences and selected the Multimix for input and output yet when I go to select it from the mixer drop down list the only choices are "speaker" or nothing, neither of which work. Can someone help me out with this?
