Hope someone can help me with this; when i record a 2nd track, it includes the 1st track on it,recording a 3rd track includes the other 2 and so on. Is there a setting i need to change?

How/what are you recording and what source/input have you selected? If you are recording "Stereo Mix" or "What-U-Hear", then you are are going to record mixed sounds, otherwise, you should only be recording one thing at a time.

The settings for recording internet audio are different from the ones for overdubbing, sound-on-sound and live recording. You need to be sure you're recording from a real physical device like Mic-In or Line-In, not one of the made up "fake" devices like Stereo Mix.
