Need help

Help for Audacity on Windows.

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Need help

I've downloaded the new version; and this has been a problem since the beta. I transferred a cassette, using my stereo, (I can copy to USB stick). I have the CD of the cassette, so I checked the wavelength of the song, and want the cassette to match. The song starts at 0.50, with the song on the 0, on the CD version. Now I have tape transferred, and want the song to start at the 0, when I try to drag, it highlights a portion, and not like the old audacity, when you drag, and you can delete the parts you want to delete. :roll:

Uncheck the Snap To checkbox bottom left.

Press Stop.
