Hey All...
I'm just becoming familiar with Audacity's editing ability and need some help editing a phone interview. I've included a clip from the file and want to know if there's a way to minimize the crackling/scratchy sound on the audio of the caller...it's happened throughout the interview. Any ideas/advice??

Thanks!
Moderator note: please do not double post - it is considered bad netiquette on most forums - and it certainly doesn't get your query answered any quicker. This forum is staffed by a few volunteers worldwide and it takes a while sometime for a post to ripple round to someone in a different timezone who has the knowledge to answer.
I have removed your duplicate post for you.

@Moderator...I profusely apologize for the double posting...I was having trouble with my browser and thought the question never posted.
Moderator note: that's ok - unfortunately we got a lot of spam and trolls who try to post on the forum (most of it commercial but some unpleasant and some downright dangerous with potential trojan links) so we combat this by moderating the posts of new forum members. We do have moderator elves scattered around the timezones of the globe so it normally doesn't take too long for the moderation queue to be dealt with. Thanks.
@Koz...thanks so much. Is there a way to prevent "peak overloading" on the phone line? Is there something I can do on my end?
Thanks again!

How are you recording it? (please be expansive and detailed - too much information is better than not enough).

Adjust the levels on the INNkeeper to get as clear a recording as possible.

The only controls on the Innkeeper are 'send' and 'caller'...is that what you're referring to? (pardon the newbie questions)
