Anyone found a way of automatically adding Accelerando -gradually speeding up- to a song on audacity?
Cheers

Re: Accelerando
Use many small jumps.
For the sake of discussion, lets say the audio is 10 seconds long and we want an accelerando throughout:
Click at 1.0 seconds
Press Shift+End key (selects from 1.0 seconds to the end)
Select "Change Tempo" from the effects menu and apply a small (just a few %) speed increase.
Click at 2.0 seconds, then Shift+End Key
Press Ctrl+R (repeats the last effect)
Click at 3.0 seconds, then Shift+End Key
Press Ctrl+R (repeats the last effect)
and so on.
Select the whole track and press Ctrl+J to stick all the bits together (Join)
Note that exact seconds will probably not be the best place to make each little jump - the beginning of a bar, or immediately before a strong beat will probably be better - the timings given are just for illustration.
