I have installed and re-installed Audacity 2.0.0 on my pc running Windows XP Home SP3, but it will not launch, and I get the following message when I try to launch. Can anybody help please?

You apparently need to install the appropriate "Microsoft Redistributable Package". The FAQ page has links and instructions about which one to install for 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.
