Using Reroute from Reaper to Audacity

Post by fastlanestoner » Mon Sep 29, 2008 4:13 pm

Reaper offers a feature called ReaRoute. Using an ASIO driver you can send your project between another DAW. I have looked through Audacity and it doesn't seem to offer the option to do this. The Reaper manual showed how to do it in Tracktion, Ableton, Sonar, etc. but not Audacity.

Does anyone know if this is possible with Audacity?

Audacity does not have ASIO support unless you build it from the source code with ASIO support. Even then I can't guarantee that it will work.
