I am new to Audacity. I am trying to learn a famous jazz player's solo by ear -- both because I want to be able to play it but also as an exercise to improve my ability to play be ear. I have the song imported as a project and have slowed the tempo. What I want to do is select, say, eight bars and have it play over and over in a loop so I can work on the passage over and over without having to cue it up manually each time.
Sorry to be so dense.
Thanks

You were very clear.
In Audacity 1.3, drag-select the portion you want to loop. Transport > Loop Play.
