Hi, I'm in need of help in posting a question to anyone who can help me... I'm not sure how to post a post? But if anyone is out there reading this... I need help importing a pcm file ... because when I do it and play it it sounds like the chipmunks... How can I get it to sound normal like me... I am doing self recordings of my counseling sessions with Virtual-Recorder on my Droid Razor and transferring them onto my computer and trying to play them using this Audacity software.

Re: Chipmunks
That usually means it's not a straight PCM file. You can tell Windows to stop hiding file extensions from you and see what the system thinks it really is.I need help importing a pcm file ... because when I do it and play it it sounds like the chipmunks...
-- Hidden File Extensions
-- Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > [ ] Hide Extensions for Known File Types (deselect)
-- Apply (to this folder) or Apply to All Folders
-- OK
Then, after you find out it's not a PCM WAV file after all, you can download the FFMpeg software plugin for Audacity and see if that works.
