CAN"T HEAR PLAYBACK

Post by sshandell29 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 7:50 pm

Hello, I am very new to this as a matter of fact, I just installed the software. I was able to install the software and record but when I try to hear what I recorded, I hear nothing. The blue waves are going across the screen and at the top of the page the green bars are also moving. So what do I need to do in order to hear what I have recorded. I am using windows 7. Thank You.

Unplug your USB microphone or other USB device. When Windows sees a USB device, it tries to record from it and play back to it. Unplugging it should restore the older settings.

You can also reset the Audacity device task bar to play to your speakers.
