Can anyone help me download a file from iTunes? I'm trying to strip out the vocals for a karaoke version, but I don't expect that's important information at this point.

It might be. "Vocal Removal" fails a lot more times than it succeeds. (see attached). There is talk about deleting Vocal Removal from Audacity because people have so much trouble with it.

So, to go on with your download. How much is the song? If it's $1.99, then it's a "free" version and you can just drag it out of iTunes and do what you want. If it's $.99, then it has FairPlay copy protection on it and it's harder.

The sample file is a very good country and western that has been "vocal removed." It didn't go well. It starts with After and then a brief Before -- what it's supposed to sound like.
