high quality mike straight to laptop.LT control panel, mike levels 88% boost+24% mike enhancement DC Cancellation enabled under properties Voice enhancement is checked and Acoustic echo cancellation is checked allso. Dont think i have changed anything but seem to now get a boomy revolving recording and have lost the bright sound. what do you suggest?

Turn all of those settings off.
