Trying to use the 'PODfarm' plugin with audacity for my dry guitar signals, it adds some lush tones. Copied and pasted all the variations of that file into the plugin folder (see pic), but still nothing comes up in my plugins menu.
I downloaded the VST enabler thing, copied it to plugins as well. (again, in pic). Still no luck
Any help?
cheers.

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Quick plugin question!
Remove the VST enabler thing, that's just for Audacity 1.2.x
Audacity does not support all VSTs. In particular it does not support VSTi (VST instruments) and it does not support real time processing, so even if you get this working it will not have all the functionality of running it in a fully fledged VST host such as Reaper, Cubase, Sonar et al.
VST support in Audacity has been gradually improving, so you should use the current version of Audacity, which is 1.3.14 (Unicode) and is available here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ You can check the version number of your installed version by looking in "Help > About Audacity".
To install VST's in Audacity it is best to put the .dll's into the Audacity plug-ins folder (some other directories are also valid, but the Audacity plug-ins folder is a reliable location for all types of plug-ins). You then need to tell Audacity to "Rescan VST effects next time Audacity is started", then restart Audacity.
