"TIPS" in mixing a song

hi everyone...

can anyone give me tips for mixing a recorded voice, with a music clip...
i have recorded my voice and y want to mixed with the rithim that i make, what can i do to sounds like a normal songs (i mean a song that i downloaded from any artist), always seems to me that my song sounds wrong.

the voice is really good no noise and anything... and the rithim i make it in fruitty loops (so i just paste in the proyect) they are perfectly matched in tempo and pitch.. averything is allright, but when i heard it, i don't like it how it sounds..

please give me tips.. tahnkiu

Can you upload a sample of your work somewhere on the internet and post a link, then we may be able to offer some tips on how to improve what you already have.
