How to setting up FFmpeg library

Post by irritatedmuch » Fri Jan 20, 2012 11:23 pm

I've been trying to get the library on Audacity set up, but the instructions make no sense to me. Can someone please tell me how to get the library up and running so that I can save my audio?

The instructions are here:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ: ... Ins#ffdown .

Please tell us how far you have got, what you don't understand and what version of Windows you are using. Have you installed FFmpeg, if so, where to?

Also is it 64-bit Windows? (to find out, right-click over My Computer or Computer, choose Properties and look if it says 64-bit). If not, you have 32-bit.
