What exactly did you do to fix the problem?
What sort of sound card are you using?
Could you post a short sample in WAV format to illustrate the problem (just 2 or 3 seconds will do)

OK, I assumed that you were recording.
Not really relevant now, but the "sound card" is the part of your computer that does the recording and playback of sounds. Commonly this will be "Realtek HD" or "Intel" or "Sound Blaster" or something else, but that is not really important at the moment.

The clicks are probably due to the imported bass sound having an abrupt start.

In the picture below, the first track has an abrupt start (and clicks) because the waveform is not centred on the horizontal zero line. This is called "DC offset" and is a fault in the recording. The "offset" may be above or below the horizontal line. In this case it is above the line, but the fix is the same in both cases.

The second track does not click as it does not have an abrupt start. The waveform is correctly centred on the zero line.

To change the first track into the second track I applied the Normalize effect with "Remove any DC offset (center on 0.0 vertically" enabled (ticked) and "Normalize maximum amplitude to" disabled (not ticked). The important setting here is "Remove any DC offset"

If you need to apply DC offset correct, that should be done before you do any other editing to the sound.

In this next picture picture, the first track clicks at the start. The second track doesn't click.
Although there is no DC offset, notice how the first track starts abruptly and the second track doesn't.

To change the first track into the second track I selected a very short amount at the beginning of the audio clip and applied a Fade In (Effect menu).

Short audio samples (under 1 MB) can be attached to your forum post. See the "upload attachment" tab below the message composing window.
