Hi, I want to use audacity to record audio that I'm playing through my computer but whenever I try to do this, I also end up recording my mouse clicks, key tapping, breathing etc.! I want to know, how do I stop audacity from recording all these external sounds while still recording what I'm listening to online, for example?
Thanks in advance,
Vicki
How do I stop recording mouse clicks etc.?

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

You are recording your built-in microphone.

Some computers do this a lot better than others.
