Audacity loses quality after time
I have been using Audacity for a little while and recently i tried to play a cassette tape into Audacity to create a digital recording of the music that i recorded onto the tape using a tascam porta ministudio. The sound quality isn't super great but its not too bad either. The only problem is that every single time after about 30 seconds of recording the quality just drops. I'm not really sure whats happening because the tape plays perfectly fine and I have the exact same problem when trying to record guitar tracks directly to Audacity. So if you could please help that would be awesome!

Also, this is under construction, but you may have more than one problem.
