can't find sync-lock

can't find sync-lock

I've been reading about the sync-lock tool, but it is not showing in any of my menus or toolbars. Help please!

Look at the Edit toolbar. You may need to turn it on (see menu item View > Toolbars > Edit Toolbar ):

Sync-lock requires Audacity 1.3.13 or higher. We recommend the latest version - 1.3.14-beta.

My understanding is that it is supposed to indicate "time" synchronization.

Personally I preferred the earlier "chain" symbols that were were used for the icon and the synchronized tracks - but the clock was favoured a few Betas back.
