Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

If you need independent simultaneous control of two different input streams then you need the hardware that can control two input streams independently. Can your equipment do that? You've not said anything about what equipment you are using to get the sounds into your computer and we can only work with the information that you give us.

The only thing I need is an input for a microphone. I hoped to click a song on the computer and between the songs talking. But the music is often too hard.

As I previously posted, the way to do that in Audacity is described here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Creat ... h_Audacity
I suppose that some other software may work differently.

It is a pity that I can send no attachment, because I can let hear what I mean. I want to talk through music and that's not possible with Audacity, I'm afraid. But I admit that I am mighty English well enough.

Perhaps this is more what you are looking for: IceCast and ShoutCast.
There is a comparison of these two radio servers here: http://forum.internet-radio.com/faq/179 ... erver.html
