OS: WIndows XP sp2
Audacity version: Zip file named "audacity-win-unicode-1.3.15-alpha.zip"
This evening I made a roll-back on my XP computer to a previously state (earlier this summer). Probably not important, but I mentioned it anyway.
When trying to start Audacity.exe, I got the following message (of course I cannot translate it the same way Windows would would if I had an english XP):
Code: Select all
---------------------------
D:LydAudacityaudacity.exe
---------------------------
D:LydAudacityaudacity.exe
Dette programmet kunne ikke starte fordi programkonfigurasjonen er feil. Hvis du installerer programmet på nytt, kan dette løse problemet.
--------------------------
OK
---------------------------
It says (trying to translate):
there is an error in the program configuration and therefore the program could not start.
If you install (not just unzip) the program over again, that might solve the problem.
So that means that if I download the zip-files, I still have to download the install-file and install Audacity first?
