Clearing noises from recording

Post by heldan » Fri Dec 02, 2011 8:23 pm

Hey,

Please do not judge my english, I'm not native. I made an interview for students radio. But... the problem is that I made it wrong. The level of Lady's voice is nearly the same as the one of the noise. Is there any way to repair it? Please help me if there is.

You will not understand the speaker, because it's in Polish.

dzień dobry

I'm not at a machine where I can listen to the show, but high noise level is very evil. If the Noise Reduction software in Audacity works, the actor may sound like they are underwater. I will listen later.

I tried noise reduction, and some other tricks, but still there is more sorounding than main character. Maybe you know other ways to do something with that, it don't have to be perfect.

The "noise" in the recording is not "noise" in an audio sense - it is the sound of unwanted performers in your show. The only really effective fix is to do the recording again.
