Audacity wont open (SOLVED)

Could anybody tell me why I can't open Audacity from my desk top, all other programmes open except Audacity.
Windows Vista.

Please ignore my last post, I uninstalled the programme and reinstalled it again and am pleaded to say nothing was lost :)
