L1 or L2 Ultramaximizer.

Post by krissserz » Fri Nov 11, 2011 4:16 pm

Hi!

I'd like to buy Waves' L1 or L2 Ultramaximizer ( http://www.waves.com/Content.aspx?id=211 ), and I was wondering if it was going to work (work the way it's supposed to) with Audacity, and if so, if the GUI will look the way it should.

Thanks a million!

Chris.

Audacity does not support real time processing so I think that it's unlikely that the meters will display properly.
You could try the Demo version to see if it works and let us know the outcome so that we can add the information to the list on the wiki http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/VST_Plug-ins

Unfortunately, looks like L1 and L2 have no demo... Only L3. When I click on the "Get Demo" button on this page: http://www.waves.com/Content.aspx?id=211 , it goes here: https://register.waves.com/NPWVCLIENTS/ ... ducts.aspx , and L1 and L2 aren't listed. Only L3. :(
