Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Copying tracks

Post by lorela » Thu Nov 03, 2011 6:11 am

I'm a new user of Audacity and need some explication on things probably obvious:
when I create a new copy of a track, the new is not alligned with the original, but shifted to the right.
Why?
(Audacity 1.3.13-beta on Windows xp)

Thank you. Lorela

Do you have "Snap To" selected at the bottom of the work window?

I've looked for an italian correspondence with "snap to".
I've found "Duplica". It works correctly.

Thank you
