Newbie with no sound

Hi Everyone

I am running a USB turntable Kam

My prblem is i have installed all the software followed the instructions for the settings and i have no sound.

I have a bose system for my sound but cannot hear anything at all.

Should once i open audacity you just hear sound or do i have to click on something

Sorry i must sound very thick!!!!!

You posted in the General section, so we don't know what kind of computer you have.
