It should be under Generate > Click Track. Have you turned off Nyquist effects in Preferences?

Hi Bill. Nyquist effects are still on.. It was under generate but seems to have dissapeared. I dont know if any other effects are gone. Under generate there are CHIRP, NOISE, DTMF TONES, SILENCE, TONE. any other sugestions? Cheers Mate. Rob

You're missing all the below-the-line tools like Click Track, Pluck, and Rissit Drum.
Do you have Effects below Truncate Silence... and WahWah...?

Check in "Audacity menu > Preferences > Effects" that "Nyquist" is enabled.

I have just reinstalled program and metronome is back where it should be. Thanks for suggestions. Cheers
