How to Cut from Audacity

Hello

Sorry I'm going to be a headache again

I've searched but not found any tutorial on how to cut audio clips from Audacity

for example if there's a song of 4 mins, & i want to cut its only 30 sec's from any minute, then how can i do that

Please guide me

First thing is that I'd highly recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.13. You can get it here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

To cut a section, first you need to select the section that you want to cut. The quickest way is often just click and drag along the track, but there are several other ways of making a selection described here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Audacity_Selection

Then go to "Edit menu > Remove Audio > Cut".
(The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+X just like in most other Windows programs)

Well, I got Audacity 1.3.13 its beta & on Edit menu there's no option of Remove Audio > Cut seen

So Guide me whether its in 1.2 series?

I don't remember where it is in Audacity 1.2. I've not used Audacity 1.2 since development was discontinued (about 5 years ago).
In Audacity 1.3.13:
