I have just looked through all 21 pages of topics and did not see this one. In the Microsoft version of Power Point there is a narration capability. Open Office has no narration capacity. Is there a way to to use audacity to narrate on Open Office?

Re: Narration on Open Office
I think I missed that. You want to record somebody else's PowerPoint narration, you want to record a live narration that somebody else can place in their PowerPoint, or you want to produce a narration that you play along with a PowerPoint presentation? By "PowerPoint," I mean either one.
If the presentation software has no internal provision for narration, the best you can do is launch Audacity and play a track at the same time you present the pictures. Like the early sound movies which started playing a record at the beginning of the otherwise silent movie.
