Not working

Post by vinnjb » Tue Aug 19, 2008 10:29 am

I have followed all the instructions and exported the finished LP recording as WAV, but there is hardly any sound when playing back.
When I recorded to CD there was no sound at all.
Is it something to do with adjusting the equalisers on the record player?

Well, thanks for your reply.

I'm not technically minded so I'll get rid of Audacity & buy the USB player on ebay I've seen for £20 including post.

Thanks

I would hesitate before leaping off the cliff ....

Any USB TT that you buy will need software to drive it (there is one exception I know of and that is one of the ION model that enables you to record from the TT straight to an iPod placed in the TT's iPod dock) - and the most commonly shipped s/w with these USB TT is - Audacity.

Also a short trawl/search through the forum will show you that many folks have problems making USB TTs work properly.
