Hi,
I attempted to change the speed of a wav file. Even though I have the ENTIRE wav highlighted, when I use the "Change Speed" option, the last few seconds of the song are cut off. I thought that it may only be happening when I play the updated file in Audacity, but when I save the file, the same thing happens. Can you help?
Change Speed - output file cut

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Change Speed - output file cut
If it's a resampling bug in 1.2, we are not fixing that version any more. You can try Set Rate instead, or use the current 1.3.13 Beta.Tim F. wrote:I attempted to change the speed of a wav file. If you mean Change Tempo, so that the pitch doesn't change with the tempo change, it's known there could be issues, but time-stretching always has compromises. Try Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift in 1.3.13 instead.
