I'm running 1.3.5 (Unicode) on WinXP.
Wnen selecting mono recording, Audacity appears to default to the left channel. Can an option be added to choose the RIGHT channel as the mono input instead? This would reduce the amount of cable switching I have to do.
Choosing left OR right channel for Mono recording?

Record stereo. Split and export the sides you want. No cable swapping.

Re: Choosing left OR right channel for Mono recording?
After you split the stereo track you can set either of the two tracks to play through the left channel, right channel, or both channels (mono). You do this by clicking on the track name and selecting the option from the drop down menu. When set to mono the track may be panned left or right as you wish (or central, or anywhere in between)
