Greetings,
I need to get together a small recording studio (per-say) for my church. We need to record sermons, singing events etc. I have a computer with windows and if I use this software...what else do I need to get to be able to record....we have a sound system at church that has microphones and speakers. I'm sorry I sound very ignorant when it comes to this subject....but I am..please help

What's your computer? Is it a Windows Laptop? Which Windows?
Somewhere in the church, all the microphones come together into one mixer or sound desk. Find the name and model number of that mixer.

We're all flying blind, so the more information and specific information you can get the better. For example, walk up to one of the microphones and copy out the model number -- usually from around the wind screen. Anything you can find is good.
