Hi
I received an emai about the release of the new 1.3 beta. I'm a voice actor and I use my current version to record wav and mp3 files for my clients. I'm quite satisfied with the older version and honestly a bit reluctant to download the newest version.
Is there something in the newer version that I need or is this version designed to accomodate newer versions of Windows.
I'm still an XP user and will be until they pry it from my cold dead hands, lol

Audacity development has been mostly in feature freeze and mostly focused on fixing current bugs. So this latest version (1.3.13) is mostly about bug fixes. You can read the complete release notes here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... tes_1.3.13

Hi Bob, which version are you currently using? (see in the "Help menu > About Audacity" for the exact version number)
