Hello,
This is a general enquiry about Audacity but I realize that what I have to ask may be inapplicable to, or perhaps impossible in, MS platforms.
I am on 1.2.6 and haven't tried 1.3.x. Is it able to capture audio input from any on-board app a ala Audio Hijack? I did a search for 'capture', looked in the index for 'input sources', and went to this page:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Tuto ... _Recording
In other words, I semi-R'dTFM but can't see that it does. If it does, where do I read about it? If not, then I think that this extremely useful feature should be added. I realize that Audacity was conceived as some kind of audio mixing/production app but now that it's become an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink audio app, why not?
Thanks,
KDS

Try this tutorial from the Wiki KDS: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Recor ... e_computer
We should probably think about replicating this tutorial in the manual methinks.
