Default "Fit Vertically"

How i put "Fit Vertically" for all new records?.

As far as I'm aware there's no "automatic fit vertically" feature on audacity. I think there's a feature request for that on the wiki, do you want you're vote added?

In Audacity 1.3.12 there's an option in Preferences that may do what you want:

"Edit menu > Preferences > Tracks"
"Automatically fit tracks vertically zoomed" (tick this option)

Thank you Steve, I missed that one. I thought I had seen a request for that on the wiki, but it was actually a request for it to be on by default... My mistake.

Ok, but with this option, only when stop the record, fit vertically, not before. It's normal?. Audacity 1.3.5 Linux

That's the behaviour I'm experiencing here too. Audacity 1.3.12.
