I did some edits on a piece, saved, and closed it. Then when I reopened it the next day I got this message:"can't open file '/Users/elizabethraum/Desktop/Dialogue between Two#191337_data/b00669.au'(error 2: No such file or directory) This happens to me all the time so I've taken to exporting the work I've done as MP3 and then reopening it later on Audicity to work some more. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

Re: Error #2
Upgrade to audacity 1.3.12 and avoid using non-alphanumeric characters in the file/project names. Characters such as # $ % ( ) or even spaces can get you into trouble... Specially in older versions of audacity.
Include as much details as you can in your post (Audacity version, Operating System, Equipment used, etc).
Please post your question in the appropriate forum (regarding audacity version and operating system).
