Hi all,
I just loaded the newest version of Audacity, but when I start the the program, I get three or four message boxes that say "Can't find registry record." After I press OK to get through the message boxes, the program starts and everything works fine, but I would like to resolve the registry errors. Has anyone on this forum encountered that problem before?
Thanks ahead of time for your input!

To recap: You downloaded and installed Audacity 1.3.12. Had you a version of Audacity loaded before? Which one?

The newest version of Audacity is 1.3.12 and highly recommended.billwhite2 wrote:I just loaded the newest version of Audacity
Audacity 1.2.6 is really old.
If you have installed Audacity 1.2.6, uninstall it and install 1.3.12. You may need to have administrative rights on the computer to install the program, but if you do not have Admin rights Audacity 1.3.12 can still be run without installing.
